How to Manually Update Themes & Plugins
Latest version of WordPress will allow you to update your theme(s) or plugin(s) simply by upload it without any extra plugin. Otherwise, you can always install Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades plugin. You can get it for free from here.
How to upgrade a theme?
- Download the latest .zip file version of the theme from our repository.
- Log into your WordPress website.
- Go to [Appearance] > [Themes]
- Click the [Add New] button at the top of the page.
- Click the [Upload Theme] button at the top of the page.
- Select the .zip file you download from point 1.
- Click the [Install Now] button.
How to upgrade a plugin?
- Download the latest .zip file version of the plugin from our repository.
- Log into your WordPress website.
- Go to [Plugins] > [Add New]
- Click the [Upload Plugin] button at the top of the page.
- Select the .zip file you downloaded from point 1.
- Click the [Install Now] button.
